Terms of use
Published 21 October 2026
1. The short version (for kids)
- NextGenAchievers is for learning about money by playing.
- Use a username, not your real name, and keep your password to yourself.
- Be kind. Don't be rude, and don't try to break the app.
- Coins and XP are virtual. The app never moves any real money.
- If something worries you, tell a parent or teacher, or email us.
2. About us
NextGenAchievers is run by Next Gen Achievers Pty Ltd, ABN 49 685 561 344, a company in Queensland, Australia ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you use the NextGenAchievers app (https://app.nextgenachievers.com/) or this website (nextgenachievers.com). Please read them with our Privacy policy. If you're a parent or guardian, please read them with your child.
3. Who can use NextGenAchievers
- Kids aged 13 and under need a parent's or guardian's approval before they use their own account, or can use the app through a school class set up by a teacher. A parent, guardian or the school agrees to these terms for them.
- Guest play. Anyone can try lessons as a guest, without an account.
- People aged 14 and over can use the app and agree to these terms themselves. We encourage teens to read them with a parent. Young adults on the Maverick track (17+) sign up on their own.
- Launchpad. Launchpad helps kids start a real small business outside the app, so it needs a parent's approval.
- The website is for parents, carers, teachers and organisations. Kids are welcome to visit with a parent or teacher.
4. Accounts and roles
There are four kinds of account: kids with a school seat, kids with a parent account, people who sign up themselves, and adult accounts for parents, guardians and teachers. The adult who sets up an account is responsible for it and for the kids' accounts linked to it. Please keep sign-in details private, and tell us if you think someone else has used an account.
5. School use
Teachers who use NextGenAchievers with a class confirm that:
- the school allows it
- the school has told parents, and has any consent it needs, before students start
- usernames don't include students' real names
- the school keeps any list that matches usernames to students.
Teachers can delete a student or a whole class at any time.
6. Using NextGenAchievers well
Please don't:
- use a rude username, or one that includes a real name, a school or an address
- share personal details about yourself or anyone else
- bully, threaten or upset anyone
- try to break, hack or overload the app, or get into someone else's account
- copy the app or its content, or use it to train AI models, without our written permission.
We may pause or close an account that breaks these rules (section 11).
7. Education, not advice, and virtual rewards
NextGenAchievers teaches general money skills. It isn't financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Please read our Disclaimer.
Coins are virtual, and the app never moves any money. Parents can choose to set a coins cash rate and pay an agreed reward outside the app. XP is virtual too, with no link to money. The app doesn't connect to a bank or hold anyone's money.
8. Free to start
NextGenAchievers is free to start. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.
9. Our content and yours
The app and website, including the lessons, text, characters, graphics and logos, belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for personal, non-commercial learning. Anything you add yourself in the app stays yours. You let us store and show it so the app works for you.
10. Links
You're welcome to link to our homepage. We aren't responsible for other websites we link to.
11. Ending an account
You can stop using NextGenAchievers at any time. Parents can delete linked child accounts, and teachers can delete students or classes, in the app. Anyone can email us to close an account. If an account breaks these terms, we may pause or close it. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell the account holder first and explain why.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date. For a big change, we'll email parents and teachers at the address on their account before it takes effect. If you don't agree with a change, you can close your account.
13. Your consumer rights and our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. We work hard to keep NextGenAchievers accurate, safe and available, but we can't promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect loss caused by using it. This doesn't limit any guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we'll try to sort it out together. You can also contact your local consumer protection agency, or go to a court in Australia.
