A Brave Warrior's BAttle

Inspiring a generation

At only two years old, Ava faced a devastating diagnosis—a brain tumour the size of an orange wrapped around her brain stem. For four years, she battled bravely, enduring aggressive surgery at Queensland Children’s Hospital and seven rounds of chemotherapy.

Her mum and our colleague, Amanda, fiercely advocated for brain cancer research, hoping to save her child. Tragically, Ava passed at six years old. But her spirit lives on.

We pledged to Amanda to be brave and start NextGenAchievers, honoring Ava and her mum’s legacy of fierce courage and fighting for a cause that matters.
